Mini Lesson Overview

For my mini lesson I think I am going to focus on comprehension of stories. Since the first semester I have not seen a lot of language arts so I am going to double check this week if this is okay with my mentor teacher. My plan is to have the student read a book aloud and than have them retell the story by using the QRI stories and check lists of comprehension. From that lesson I plan to reflect and alter the next activity based on how well the first mini lesson goes.
